Shipping policy

We understand that receiving your order promptly is just as important as the quality of the products themselves. To achieve this we have developed a robust system to ensure smooth deliveries. We have designed a flexible and efficient shipping system that accounts for various shipping destinations, including remote areas, no matter where you are located in South Africa.

  • Stock Availability: While we strive to maintain an accurate inventory, products may occasionally go out of stock. If a product is unavailable after your order has been placed, we will notify you promptly, and you will have the option to select an alternative or receive a full refund for the unavailable item.

  • Product Descriptions: We make every effort to provide accurate descriptions and images of our products. However, the actual appearance of items (such as fragrance bottles) may differ slightly due to various factors, including lighting or screen settings.

Orders, Payment and Delivery Times

  • Placing an Order: When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the selected items. We reserve the right to accept or reject any order, at our discretion. A confirmation email will be sent to you once your order has been processed.

  • Payment: All transactions are processed in ZAR (South African Rand).     • Remote areas: Deliveries to remote locations may take 5-7 business days, depending on carrier routes and accessibility.
  • Expedited Delivery: For those who need their orders faster, we offer expedited shipping. Expedited delivery usually takes 1-2 business days to major urban areas.

Shipping Costs

  • Location-Based Pricing: Shipping costs are determined by the destination and the weight of the order. At checkout, you will see the shipping charges based on the location you’ve provided, and any applicable promotions or discounts will automatically be applied.

  • Remote Area Shipping Fees: If you are located in a remote area, additional shipping fees may apply. Remote areas often involve longer distances, higher fuel costs, or limited access, which may increase delivery charges. Remote Areas and Delivery

Remote areas are typically defined as locations that are not in close proximity to major cities or well-established routes, including rural towns or settlements that may lack consistent access to courier services.   • Extended Delivery Time for Remote Areas:

    • For remote areas, deliveries may take an additional 2-3 business days beyond the standard delivery window.
    • If you reside in a remote area, we will inform you of the estimated delivery time, and we appreciate your understanding in case of slight delays.
  • Additional Fees for Remote Areas: In some cases, deliveries to remote areas may incur higher delivery costs. We work with a variety of local carriers to ensure your package arrives safely, and if additional fees apply, these will be displayed at checkout. You will be notified of these charges before finalizing your order.

  • Shipping Costs: Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on the delivery address and the shipping method selected. We strive to offer competitive and reasonable shipping rates. You will be able to view the full cost of shipping prior to completing your order, and any applicable shipping promotions or discounts will be applied automatically.

Undeliverable Packages

If a package is returned to us due to incorrect address information or if the recipient is unavailable for delivery in remote areas, we will contact you to arrange redelivery. If the package cannot be delivered after multiple attempts, the order may be cancelled, and a re-stocking fee may apply.

 

Special Delivery Instructions: If you are located in an area with specific delivery requirements, such as restricted access or difficult terrain, we recommend including special delivery instructions when placing your order. This will help our delivery partners provide the most efficient service.

 

Availability of Service: In rare cases, some remote areas may not be served by regular courier services due to extreme geographical challenges. If we are unable to deliver to your location, we will contact you immediately to arrange an alternative solution.

  • Order Tracking: Once your order is shipped, you will receive an email notification with tracking information. You can use this tracking number to follow your package’s journey and check for real-time delivery updates.   • Delivery Issues: While we make every effort to ensure the safe and timely delivery of your order, we understand that unexpected delays or issues may arise during transit. If your package is delayed, lost, or damaged in transit, please reach out to our customer service team immediately for assistance.

Returns, Exchanges & Refund Policy

At CORIESHADE we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not entirely happy with your order, we offer a hassle-free return. However, please carefully review the following return and exchange guidelines to ensure a smooth and efficient experience:

  • Return Window: We offer a return window of 5 days from the date of delivery. To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, unopened, and in its original, undamaged packaging. Once the 5-day period has passed, we are unable to accept any returns or exchanges. We encourage you to inspect your items as soon as they arrive to ensure that they meet your expectations.

  • Condition of Items for Returns: For a return to be approved, the product must be in its original, unused condition with all packaging, seals, and tags intact. We cannot accept returns for products that have been opened, used in any way. 

  • Initiating a Return: To start the return process, please contact our customer service team at info@corieshade.com.

  •  When you contact us, please provide the following information:

    • Your order number.
    • The product(s) you wish to return.
    • The reason for your return.

Upon receiving your request, we will verify your order and provide you with the necessary return authorization details and further instructions. We will also inform you of the Pargo drop-off point nearest to you for the return. Please note that it may take up to 7 days from the date of your return request for the entire return process to be completed.

  • Return Shipping via Pargo: For returns, we utilize Pargo drop-off points for easy and convenient returns. After you’ve received your return authorization, you will be given specific instructions on how to return your product via a designated Pargo drop-off point. We will inform you of the nearest drop-off location based on your geographic area. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the return is due to a defect or error on our part. Please ensure that the product is securely packaged to avoid any damage during transit.

  • Return Shipping Time: Please allow up to 7 business days for the return process to be completed, including the time it takes for your return to be shipped to us and inspected once received. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

  • Exchanges: Currently we do not offer exchanges on fragrances. Please be sure to carefully select your products before completing your order. If you are unsure about a fragrance, feel free to contact us for more information before purchasing.

  • Non-Returnable Items: Please note that certain items may not be eligible for return or exchange, including:

    • Products marked as final sale or non-returnable.
    • Items that have been opened, used, or damaged.
    • Customized or personalized products.

Refunds

We want to ensure that your refund is processed as quickly and efficiently as possible. Please read through the following details regarding our refund policy:

  • Refund Process: Refunds will be processed to the original payment method used for the order. Once your return is received and inspected, the refund will be issued. Refund processing typically takes 3-5 business days from the date we receive your returned item. Please allow additional time (up to 7 days) for the refund to reflect in your account, as processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

  • Refund for Damaged or Defective Items: If your product arrives damaged or defective, we will provide a full refund or exchange at no additional cost. Please notify us within 48 hours of receiving the damaged or defective item and include supporting images to expedite the resolution process.


Additional Information

  • Order Cancellations: If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible. Orders that have already been processed or shipped cannot be cancelled. However, you can initiate a return after receiving the item in accordance with our return policy.

  • Gift Returns: If you received an item as a gift and wish to return or exchange it, please contact our customer service team. The refund will be issued to the original purchaser.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method as soon as your refund has been authorized and processed.
